2. Description of Service

  • ●Notopia is a note-taking application with AI features, gamification (Mind Palace), and organizational tools.
  • ●Available as web app, desktop app, and mobile app.

3. Accounts

  • ●You must provide accurate registration information
  • ●You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • ●One account per person
  • ●Minimum age: 13 years
  • ●You must notify us of unauthorized account use

4. User Content

  • ●You retain ownership of all content you create
  • ●You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content
  • ●You are responsible for the legality of your content
  • ●We may remove content that violates these terms
  • ●Prohibited content: illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringing material

5. AI Features

  • ●AI features use third-party APIs (OpenAI) for processing
  • ●AI outputs are generated content — accuracy not guaranteed
  • ●You are responsible for reviewing and using AI outputs appropriately
  • ●AI processing requires sending text to external servers
  • ●Free tier: 10 AI credits/day. Pro tier: 50 AI credits/day

6. Mind Palace & Gamification

  • ●XP, levels, badges are for engagement purposes
  • ●Virtual items have no monetary value
  • ●We reserve the right to modify the gamification system

7. Free and Paid Plans

  • ●Free plan: core features with daily AI limits
  • ●Pro plan: $4.99/month or $39.99/year
  • ●Pricing subject to change with 30 days notice
  • ●Refunds handled per App Store/Google Play policies
  • ●We may offer promotional pricing

8. Intellectual Property

  • ●Notopia branding, design, and code are our property
  • ●User content remains user's property
  • ●"Notopia", "Mind Palace" (in app context), and "Ares" are our trademarks

9. Prohibited Uses

  • ●Reverse engineering the application
  • ●Automated data scraping or harvesting
  • ●Attempting to bypass AI rate limits
  • ●Using the service for illegal activities
  • ●Impersonating others
  • ●Distributing malware through the service

10. Termination

  • ●You may delete your account anytime
  • ●We may suspend accounts violating these terms
  • ●Upon termination, data is deleted per our Privacy Policy

11. Disclaimers

  • ●Service provided "as is" without warranties
  • ●We do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • ●AI outputs may contain errors
  • ●We are not responsible for data loss (though we take precautions)

12. Limitation of Liability

  • ●Maximum liability limited to amount paid in last 12 months
  • ●We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

13. Governing Law

  • ●These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey
  • ●Disputes shall be resolved in Istanbul courts

14. Changes to Terms

  • ●We may modify these terms
  • ●Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
  • ●Material changes notified via email
